High Tea at The National Memorial Arboretum
After a short coffee stop in Lichfield, we visit the beautiful NMA. On arrival, we are treated to a short welcome talk, followed by High Tea comprised of freshly-prepared sandwiches, savoury snacks, and an assortment of delicious homemade cakes served with tea/coffee. After lunch, see the splendour of the Arboretum from the comfort of a covered Land Train with an accompanying 50-minute commentary, and enjoy free time to explore the site and its exhibitions before we depart.
We begin the day with a short stop in the historic city of Lichfield, dominated by the iconic three-spired Cathedral. This afternoon, we continue to the beautiful National Memorial Arboretum – the Nation’s year-round place to remember, a special place that honours those who have served and continue to serve our Nation.
