Deposits are £60 per person for all UK and Continental Holidays. The only exceptions to this are any holidays that include flights or cruises (these have varying deposit prices and can be viewed in the tour details online, in our brochure, or you can call our office for details). There is no deposit system on day excursions and we require full payment at the time of booking.
Back To TopWe do not send out balance reminders, the date that your balance is due is printed on your invoice. Balances are payable 6 weeks prior to departure unless stated otherwise (holidays that include flights or cruises may have an earlier balance payment date). We will never automatically take your payment; it is your responsibility to contact us.
Back To TopYes, we will allocate you a seat at the time of booking. Please be aware that this is purely on a first come, first served basis, so the earlier you book the more chance you have of sitting in your preferred seat. It is possible that for operational reasons, a coach of different seat configuration may be used and we therefore reserve the right to alter a seating plan and re-allocate seats other than those you have booked. Specific seats will not be allocated on feeder vehicles, only the main tour coach.
Back To TopA maximum weight of 18kg per case is allowed. We recommend 1 "medium" size hand luggage suitcase/carryall per person. Please pack a separate overnight bag if your Tour includes an overnight ferry crossing (as you may not be able to access your suitcase from the coach in the parking hold).
Back To TopFor passengers with mobility difficulties, we are happy to carry fold-away walking aids and wheelchairs, subject to space. We are strictly limited to one electric scooter per tour, provided the scooter is lightweight and able to be dismantled. This will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Due to health and safety concerns regarding our drivers, the owner or their travelling companion will be required to load and unload said scooter from the coach without any assistance from the driver. As an alternative, you may be able to hire a scooter at the resort.
Back To TopYou will need to carry a full British 10-year passport every time you travel to Europe, with at least 6 months of validity. The Republic of Ireland is classed as being part of the Common Travel Area of the UK so you do not need a passport to enter. Ferry and airline services only require Government Issued Photographic ID (i.e. Passport, Driving Licence, Bus Pass) however we recommended that you take your passport if you have one. Similarly, passports are also not required for travel to the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight, the Channels Isles, and the Isles of Scilly - Government Issued Photographic ID is sufficient.
Back To TopFrom 1st January 2018, we longer accept credit card payments. Businesses such as ours have always been subjected to charges to accept credit card payments, and new legislation will no longer allow us to pass on these charges to customers. We can however accept debit cards, cheques, and cash payments.
Back To TopWe do not sell travel insurance, however, we strongly advise that you take our adequate insurance for your holiday which includes cover for travel disruption, curtailment, medical and repatriation costs, personal injury, loss of baggage and cancellation charges. If you do not have a current policy in place, we are happy to introduce you to BP Insurance Brokers on 01253 747 258 , whom offer competitive premiums to patrons of G-Line Holidays.
Back To TopAll of our tours, including overnight breaks, include our Door-to-Door service. On the day of departure, one of our small vehicles (i.e. car or minibus) will pick you up at your door at a pre-arranged time and take you to the tour coach. The same will be provided in reverse on the final day of your holiday. If you live inside the catchment area on our map, this Door-to-Door service is included in all holidays.
