Recently opened in Spring 2021, the new Hilton Garden Inn Snowdonia boasts wonderful views across the lagoon to the mountains and forests beyond. Guests can expect stylish comfort and warm hospitality in a truly remarkable setting, less than 10 miles from Betws-y-Coed in Snowdonia National Park the ideal location for our holiday. Isle of Anglesey
We head to Anglesey, making a short photo-stop at Llanfair PG, before continuing to Saltcote Visitor's Centre for a behind-the-scenes tour that discovers what makes Halen Môn Sea Salt the world's finest seasoning. Our day ends with free time in the seaside town of Beaumaris, offering charming streets lined with picturesque cottages, many painted in soft pastel colours, and a world heritage Castle that is worth a visit.
B, DBodnant Garden
Enjoy a visit to world-famous Bodnant Garden. With year-round colour, intimate corners, sweeping lawns, grand terraces and verdant woodland, there are many gardens in one at Bodnant. This grade I listed horticultural gem is home to botanical collections from around the globe, backdropped by the Carneddau mountains of Snowdonia. Please note: The full garden route includes steps and steep inclines. Then it's on to the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno, known as 'the Queen of the Welsh Resorts' is a delight to visit. Llandudno boasts an immaculate seafront, protected from the elements by two headlands and a pretty town centre blessed with elegant architecture and a variety of shops.
B, DPant Du Vineyard
We begin the day with a visit to Caernarfon, home to an UNESCO World Heritage Site and mighty Caernarfon Castle built by Edward I. From here we continue to Pant Du Vineyard, where on arrival you will be met by a knowledgeable guide for an included tour of the orchard and vineyard, plus an opportunity to taste the produce. With special views of Snowdon and its crew and panoramic views of the sea, Pant Du is an ideal location to enjoy the natural beauty of Snowdonia. Our final stop of the day is the charming village of Betws-y-Coed. This magical setting has a distinctly Alpine feel, enhanced by the dense Gwydyr Forest surrounding the village.
