This short break will give you a taste of the picturesque landscape that Cheshire and the Welsh Borders has to offer. We visit the unique Italianate Village of Portmeirion, enjoy Cream Tea on the River Dee and take a nostalgic journey on the Llangollen Steam Railway, all in just three days!

Portmeirion

Portmeirion - Visit Portmeirion Village on the shores of Cardigan Bay. Designed by Sir Clough Ellis Williams between 1925 and 1975 in the style of an Italian village, Portmeirion is well known as the setting of the 1960's TV series 'The Prisoner.'

Chester & Cream Tea on the Dee - We take you to Chester for free time at leisure and an included cruise on the River Dee. Relax and unwind as we take in the city's sights and sounds, complete with a sumptuous cream tea.

Llangollen

Llangollen & Rail - We journey over the spectacular Horseshoe Pass and descend through Dee Valley to the pretty town of Llangollen, with an included journey aboard the Llangollen Railway through eight miles of beautiful Welsh scenery.
