RHS Wisley
We make a short stop at the picturesque town of Kingston-upon-Thames, with its attractive riverside setting. Departing here, we head to the rather special and flagship garden of the Royal Horticultural Society at Wisley, one of the finest gardens in the world. It is a place full of inspiration, with spectacular floral displays, the Wild Garden, the Model Gardens and the state-of-the-art Glasshouse.
Polesden Lacey
We travel through the rolling Surrey countryside to the county town of Guildford, with its magnificent cathedral and cobbled high street. An ideal place to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a spot of retail therapy. Then it's on to National Trust's Polesden Lacey, offering glorious views across the rolling Surrey Hills and acres of countryside to explore. It was home to the famous Edwardian hostess Mrs Greville, who entertained royalty and the celebrities of her time.
Windsor & Cruise
Taking in some of the beautiful Berkshire countryside, we make the short drive to Henley-on-Thames, famous for its annual regatta. Here you will have some free time to explore at your own pace, before an included 1-hour river cruise along the Thames. This afternoon we enjoy some time free in Windsor, crowned by stunning Windsor Castle, the largest and oldest inhabited castle in the world. The wonderful Royal town of Windsor has a rich mix of history, culture, and heritage.
