For over 125 years, small engines have hauled trains from the delightful Cumbrian coastal village of Ravenglass through spectacular scenery to Eskdale. We continue to the historic Muncaster Castle, with its Great Hall, octagonal library, ghosts, 77 acres of wild woodland gardens, 12th century church and world owl centre.
Our time in Llangollen begins with a trip back in time on a horse drawn canal boat. Watch the fish and the wildlife swim in the water as the boat silently travels along, pulled by a powerful, but elegant horse. Afterwards, you will have time to explore the picturesque town of Llangollen before enjoying a journey on the Llangollen Railway
