Join this short break,we visit Kiftsgate Court perched on edge of the Cotswolds. Then we discover how HRH The Prince of Wales has transformed what was once merely a lawn into the ever-changing canvas that is Highgrove today.
Our Hotel – Marriott Hotel, Swindon
Our hotel is surrounded by lush woodlands and is the perfect base for our itinerary. This four-star property boasts free Wi-Fi, the ‘Grill Restaurant’, ‘Cast Iron Bar’ and leisure facilities featuring an indoor pool, gym and tennis court. All of the en-suite bedrooms include deluxe bedding, flat-screen TV and tea / coffee making facilities.
The hotel has a lift but it does not access all floors.
Kiftsgate Court
After your home pick up, we head to Kiftsgate Court perched on edge of the Cotswolds. Created by three generations of women gardeners, the gardens at Kiftsgate reflect gardening through the 20th century and feature many rare plants and shrubs including the world famous Kiftsgate rose.
DHighgrove Gardens
Day Two, The highlight of this break is a guided tour of Highgrove Gardens, where HRH Prince Charles has worked tirelessly to create one of the most imaginative gardens of modern times. Discover how what was once merely a lawn was transformed into the enchanting canvas that is Highgrove today. After the tour refreshments can be purchased on site.
