Arlington Court
Arlington Court - National Trust's Arlington Court is a complete family estate held by the Chichester family for over five hundred years. The intriguing regency house, built in 1823, has an austere facade. However, inside the cosy rooms purvey a homely, family atmosphere. The Carriage Museum in the stables has a vehicle for every occasion from cradle to grave, and there is also the Formal Victorian Garden to explore, planted with many exotic species.

Westward Ho! - This traditional seaside resort is not only the only town in the UK to have an exclamation mark as part of its name, but it was also named after a book. This best-selling novel and brought a new wave of tourism to his hometown of Bideford, which led to the creation of Westward Ho! in the surrounding area.
